My name is Laura Keeling, Founder and Clinical Director of Peninsula Speech Therapy.

I have been a qualified Speech and Language Therapist for more than ten years, having held positions in both the NHS and independent sector.

I have previously worked within mainstream and specialist educational settings, as well ascommunity services and nursing homes, providing intervention for children and adults with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. I have also led and supervised dysphagia teams in providing holistic assessment and care to rehabilitate and develop eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties identified in both children and adults.

 I am passionate about working with children and adults with neurological conditions or cognitive disabilities, to rehabilitate or develop their communication and eating and drinking skills. I enjoy working with families, support staff, and educational settings to empower them to support my clients’ communication development.
